Saturday March 11th, 2017

All Ages Welcome, No Music Ability Required.

Come join the fun with Damm Music and march in the St. Patrick's Parade in Historic Delano.

The first 100 people to sign up get a FREE Damm Music Kazoo Band T-Shirt and their very own Kazoo to play! Shirt sizes and availability are first come, first serve. Shirts will be passed out starting at 11:00 at Lawrence/Dumont Stadium. You're also welcome to wear any Green St. Patty's Day Festive stuff. Kazoos will be handed out at the Parade.

The parade starts at noon, we will meet at Lawrence/Dumont Stadium at 11:00am.

The Parade route is from McLean & Douglas to Walnut & Douglas.

2017 Parade Logistics:
Our entry number is: C-53 Damm Music Center
Meet at 11:00am, Parade starts officially at noon, but we'll start moving probably at 11:30ish. A- goes first C-goes next B-is at the end of the parade.
With over 100 entries so far, they expect this to be the largest St Patrick's parade ever. It is possible that we will start a few minutes before Noon.

FYI, we are not allowed THROW candy. However, we can hand it out, so if you want to bring candy, please walk to the edge and hand it out, no throwing.

No rain date, this parade is RAIN OR SHINE

The new shirts are printed and ready for pick up. I have lots of sizes made up, but it's first come, first served. I will also have them at the parade at 11am Saturday. If you want to pick your shirt up before then, come to Damm Music. If you pick up early, you half to promise that you'll show up Saturday, rain or shine.

Songs & Kazoos:
As in the past, we will go through each song 3 times, first on Kazoo, then singing, then one more time on kazoo. Then the drums will play a bit and we'll go to the next song. Kazoos will be handed out the morning of the parade. Same songs as last year:
1) When the Saints Go Marching In
2) Yankee Doodle
3) God Bless America

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, March 11th.
