In the Fall of 2015 Megan signed on as a guitar instructor with the franchise, where she taught private lessons and directed group rehearsals in the Rock 101 and Performance Programs until December of 2018 when the franchise closed. She then joined the teaching staff at Damm Music. Focused, versatile, and detail oriented, Megan has explored a variety of genres, including rock, jazz, blues, metal, country, and pop, which has led to a wide variety of performance opportunities. Megan is currently attending Wichita State University where she has performed as part of the Jazz Arts 1 Ensemble, the Guitar Ensemble, as well as several jazz combos, and will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance - Jazz Studies in May of 2019. While at WSU she formed Triple Helix, a jazz-rock fusion trio that performs instrumental covers of songs from artists such as John McLaughlin, Mike Stern, Tony Williams, Miles Davis and others. Megan is also the guitarist for the Molly Neeley Trio, a local acoustic cover band.
