About The Camp

Campers:
The camp is for any musicians between the age of 11 and 17 with an interest in advancing their knowledge and skill as a musician and performer. Some experience on guitar, bass or drums is required.

Teaching Staff:
Our highly qualified teachers each have a background of thorough musical training, teaching expertise, and professional performance experience.

Tuition:
Camp tuition is $250.00* and includes 3 weeks of instruction, printed materials, the final concert and a camp t-shirt.

Tuition is reduced to $220.00 for any student of Damm Music’s private lesson program that registers before June 7th.

Schedule:
There are 2 Sessions of the camp. One will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays, the other on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On the first day registration will begin at 9:30am, instruction will start at 10:00am. Each day thereafter, camp will meet from 10:00am to 3:00pm for the 3 weeks. On the Final Friday, July 23rd, the campers will meet at the Murdock Theatre at 3:30pm to start preparing for the Final Concert. Campers are responsible for bringing their own sack lunch each day.

Final Concert:
There will be a final concert Friday July 23rd featuring both Sessions. The Final Concert will be held at the Louise C. Murdock Theatre 536 N. Broadway at 7:00pm. The concert is open to the public at no charge, family and friends of the campers are encouraged to attend.

Equipment:
Guitarist/ Bassist are responsible for providing their own guitar/bass, small amp, cables, etc. Drummers are responsible for providing sticks, drum sets will be available.
