Adult Band – Play in a Band at Damm Music Center
Looking to join a band and play music with others? Adult Band at Damm Music Center is a performance-based music program for students 18 and up. Whether you’re just getting started or getting back into music, this program gives you weekly private lessons and group rehearsals, all led by an experienced band coach.
What Is Adult Band?
Adult Band is for anyone over 18 who wants to experience the fun and challenge of playing in a real group. You’ll rehearse weekly with other musicians and a coach who helps guide the band through song choices, rehearsal structure, and performance prep. Whether you play guitar, sing, or drum, there’s a spot for you!
This is an ongoing group, and you can join at any time of the year.
Program Features
Weekly Private Lessons: One-on-one 30-minute lessons focused on your instrument and personal goals.
Weekly Band Rehearsals: One-hour group rehearsals where you work together to sound tight and stage-ready.
Live Performances: Showcase your progress at gigs around Wichita.
Band Coach: Bruce Despommier, A pro musician who helps your group rehearse efficiently and get performance-ready.
Adult Band is about growth, teamwork, and having fun while playing music you enjoy. Learn how to collaborate, lock in rhythm, and take the stage with confidence.
