Ethan Grohe

Ethan grew up in Wichita, KS and is currently a student at Wichita State University studying music composition. He started out in beginning band playing trombone, eventually learning saxophone for jazz band. In high school he began working on learning piano and flute. Since then, he has taught himself clarinet and trumpet. 

Ethan plays a variety of styles including classical, jazz, pop, funk, and more. He currently performs at WSU with Wind Ensemble, Jazz Arts 1, and Saxophonics. 

He gigs around town and has played with the likes of Bobby Watson, Matt Wilson, James Pisano, and Melissa Aldana.
