Kim Pfeiffer

Kim Pfeiffer, Director of School Services


Kim has been teaching 5-12 band and orchestra in the Wichita area for since 1999. She has a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Wichita State University. Kim is a co-founder of the Air Capital Marching Invitational and hosted the inaugural event in 2022. She is an advocate for music education, has served on the South Central Kansas Music Education Board as a jazz co-chair and has participated in the Kansas Music Educators Association state convention as both a director of a selected performing group and clinician. She has also mentored many student teachers throughout her tenure and has adjudicated festivals around the region. Kim is a published author of the Kansas Music Review and continues to strive to serve the Wichita area communities to foster continued excellence in music for all.
