Gibson Consolette Double Neck Lap Steel Guitar with Original Case (used)
What an amazing and rare find. This 1950s Gibson Consolette was one of many beautiful instruments one collector and long time customer of ours kept at home. The instrument was in great shape when we took it in, all we did was dust some areas and clean it up a bit. We didn't take the whole thing apart, but everything appears to be original and it's in excellent shape for its age. The P90s are sounding great and it's very easy to play between each neck with the offset height between the two. The upper neck is tuned to High Bass A, lower neck is tuned to a variant of E6 tuning for 8-Strings. Featuring a Korina wood body with a beautifully preserved, classic Gibson sunburst finish, this double neck will come with its original case and legs as well.
